The second edition of the HiLoVv - Hidden Live(r)s of Venice educational project was devoted to capturing un(dis)covered stories about the manual ingenuity of the Venetian "creative industries". In Xe El Violin we learn from Riccardo Guaraldi about the traditional art of making violins. Shoes to Measure presents Giovanna Zanella and Gabriele Gmeiner, two high-end craftswomen shoemakers who make everything by hand. Sweetly Salty shows us a brave start into the meticulous business of a pizzaiolo and Solo Perle the integration of an immigrant as maker of glass pearls. Delicate surfaces presents Peeta, a successful painter and graffiti artist who, due to safety issues, now only makes graffiti as commissioned work.

Discovering the Hidden Live(r)s of Venice
The omnibus Passione was made in the frame of the second edition of the HiLoVv - Hidden Live(r)s of Venice educational project, which has been supported by the European Union in the form of a Lifelong Learning - Intensive Programmes grant. The leading partner of the project is University of Nova Gorica School of Arts.
After two months of research-based script development about the "Hidden Live(r)s of Venice", in November 2012 students from three universities and several countries met in the floating city to produce 5 short documentaries about Venice, its interesting professions and personalities..., all under the mentorship of the renowned film director, professor Rajko Grlić.

Omnibus filmov Passione je nastal v okviru druge izdaje projekta HiLoVv - Hidden Live(r)s of Venice, ki ga podpira Evropska komisija v sklopu Erasmus - Intenzivni programi, vodilni partner projekta je Visoka šola za umetnost Univerze v Novi Gorici.
Po dvomesečnih raziskavah in pisanju sinopsisov o skritem življenju Benetk, so se novembra 2012 študentje treh univerz in šestih držav srečali v Mestu na vodi, kjer so v dveh tednih pod mentorstvom priznanega filmskega režiserja, profesorja Rajka Grlića in ob pomoči kopice drugih mentorjev z matičnih univerz, posneli 5 kratkih dokumentarcev o zanimivih poklicih, osebnostih v tem posebnem okolju...
