Nadija Mustapić (Rijeka, 1976.) is an intermedia artist working predominantly in video installation, but her practice includes documentary and experimental film, installation, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and performance. In her work she explores poetic processes of abstracting narratives, and constructs emotional structures in relation to the (performing) body, space and the political realities.

Nadija Mustapić has exhibited in 19 solo and over 30 group exhibitions in Croatia and internationally. Her artistic practice includes collaborations. She is one of founding members of The Moving Crew art collective (www.themovingcrew.org). She has been awarded scholarships, art and academic awards.

She graduated from the Philosophy Faculty Art Department in Rijeka (BA 1999). From 1999 till 2002 she lived and worked in Venice, Italy (1999, Internship, The Peggy Guggenheim Museum , 2000. Assistant, Scuola Internazionale di Grafica). She earned her postgraduate degrees (MA 2004, MFA 2005) from the University of Iowa, School of Art and Art History. Since 2006, she has been living in Croatia. She Assistant Professor at the Applied Arts Academy, The University of Rijeka.
