Konferenca PLACES združuje 69 evropskih mest

Na konferenci projekta PLACES 7. okvirnega programa EU, ki pod motom "Building the European City of Scientific Culture" združuje 69 evropskih mest, bo 21. februarja 2013 predaval tudi dr. Peter Purg, docent za področje Novih medijev na Visoki šoli za umetnost Univerze v Novi Gorici.

Na povabilo Regionalne razvojne agencije Ljubljanske urbane regije in na podlagi priznanja "Prometej znanosti za odličnost v komuniciranju znanosti" bo dr. Purg ob predavanju z udeleženci izvedel tudi kreativno delavnico "Shake them, not stir! Designing the Right MediaMix and Strategy for Communicating Science to Policy Users on the Ground":

"By using elementary design thinking methods the workshop will focus on personas as typified communication partners to develop the right media mix and communication strategy with the end users of policy decisions in urban planning that are based on complex scientific data. Dealing with real-life cases from Ljubljana and Slovenia, participants will work in groups to develop sensitivity for communicating scientific information to diverse groups of common people, possibly by the use of new media and in innovative ways.
