V četrtek, 30. maja, smo Vas med 18. in 21. uro povabili na osrednji javni dogodek šole v Palačo Alvarez v Gorico, Via Diaz 5. Na letni razstavi študijske produkcije so bili na ogled novi animirani in (video)filmi, fotografije, vaje, predstavitve delavnic in projektov iz programov obeh stopenj, tako že utečenega Digitalne umetnosti in prakse kot tudi prvega letnika nulte generacije magistrskega programa Medijske umetnosti in prakse. Nekatere dele razstave si je bilo bo moč ogledati tudi v prvem tednu junija vsak dan med 10. in 15. uro.

In Xe El Violin we learn from Riccardo Guaraldi about the traditional art of making violins. Shoes to Measure presents Giovanna Zanella and Gabriele Gmeiner, two high-end craftswomen shoemakers who make everything by hand. Sweetly Salty shows us a brave start into the meticulous business of a pizzaiolo and Solo Perle the integration of an immigrant as maker of glass pearls. Delicate surfaces presents Peeta, a successful painter and graffiti artist who, due to safety issues, now only makes graffiti as commissioned work.

Strokovna žirija 22. Slovenskega oglaševalskega festivala je 22. marca 2013 produkcijski hiši Perfo podelila nagrado za najboljšo produkcijsko hišo filmskih oglasov.

V petek in soboto, 1. in 2. februarja 2013 se bo Univerza v Novi Gorici predstavila na vseslovenskem sejmu izobraževanja, štipendiranja in zaposlovanja - Informativa '13, ki bo potekal na Gospodarskem razstavišču v Ljubljani. Študenti univerze bodo v sodelovanju s profesorji predstavili vse študijske programe in način študija, ki ga bodo popestrili z eksperimenti in prikazom praktičnega dela, kot poteka na Univerzi v Novi Gorici.

Na festivalu bo predvajan omnibus Beneške povezave, delavnica video filma pod vodstvom pred. Rajka Bizjaka, predavanje doc. dr. Petra Purga ter kritični dialog skupaj s študentko Lavoslavo Benčič. Predstavili bodo tudi mednarodni projekt ADRIART in v njem razviti magistrski program Medijske umetnosti in prakse.

Društvo slovenskega animiranega filma vabi na praznovanje ob mednarodnem dnevu animiranega filma s projekcijo sodobnih slovenskih kratkih animiranih filmov ter pogovori z avtorji. Na sporedu tudi diplomski film alumni Visoke šole za umetnost UNG Miha Šubica Zadnje kosilo, ter filma mentorjev na VŠU UNG Špele Čadež in Kolja Saksida. Vabljeni v Klub Daktari (Krekov trg 7, Ljubljana), 28. oktobra ob 19h, vstop prost.
V Centre Pompidou v Parizu pa je dan prej na sporedu retrospektiva slovenskega animiranega filma, ki jo bo v sodelovanju s Slovenskim filmskim centrom in posameznimi avtorji/avtoricami predstavil Igor Prassel, sodelavec Visoke šole za umetnost UNG.
