He is co-founder of the Galerija GT Cultural Association (1988) and the Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts (1994). He is active in the fields of visual art, literature, and education. Boštjan Potokar is the creator or cocreator of several educational programmes, as well as the organizer of a number of cultural projects. Rene Rusjan

Rene Rusjan is the director of programmes of UNG School of Arts (UNG AU). Visual artist with origins in sculpture, but working in wide fields of contemporary art; the broad scope of her activities encompasses educational work in the fields of contemporary art practices, from visual, intermedia, and performing arts, to theatrical set design, curating exhibitions, and complex art projects. Together with Boštjan Potokar, they founded the Galerija GT Cultural Association (1988) and the Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts (1994), which led to today's UNG School of Arts. She is professor of contemporary arts and leads the Contemporary Art Practices Module in BA and MA (Digital/Media Arts and Practices) programmes. As programme director Rene curates the main directions of the programmes and the development of the carrier modules.

Professor of Animation and Illustration and founder of the Animation course at the Faculty of Applied Arts of the University of Arts in Belgrade, Rastko Ćirić has presented his work in more than 35 solo shows in the region of former Yugoslavia and elsewhere. As illustrator and writer he collaborates with the magazine Politikin Zabavnik, and from 2002 to 2004 he made illustrations for the New York Times Book Review. Rajko Grlić

The films of director and scriptwriter Rajko Grlić have been shown in cinemas across five continents, they have been included in the competition programmes of leading world festivals, including Cannes, and have received numerous international awards. He has realised eleven theatrical feature films (as director and scriptwriter) and worked on a further five feature films as scriptwriter and on five as producer. He wrote, directed, and produced How to Make Your Movie; An Interactive Film School, which was proclaimed the Best World Multi-media work in 1998. Peter Purg, phD

Peter Purg received an interdisciplinary PhD from the University of Erfurt, Germany, in the fields of new media, communication science, and media art. He is lecturer and module leader at several higher education media and art schools in Slovenia and abroad; currently he is project manager and module leader in New Media at the University of Nova Gorica, School of Arts; lecturer at the Institute and Academy of Multimedia/IAM in Ljubljana, and programme leader of the BA (Hons) Media Production Management at IAM-CMPM for Middlesex University (London). His research interests include new media, media art, e-learning, media ecology and multimedia. He also acts as an independent advisor and project manager in several research and development projects, as well as being a member of several cultural collectives and associations. Janez Burger

Janez Burger has written and directed three feature films (Silent Sonata, Ruins, Idle Running) as well as several medium-length and short films. His films have been shown all over the world in festivals, cinemas and on TV. He has received several awards in Slovenia and abroad. Burger also directed TV shows and worked in theatre as director and dramaturg. He obtained his degree film directing from the FAMU film academy in Prague. Kolja Saksida

Kolja Saksida is active in the field of animated film as an author, director, and producer, and in film also as an actor. In 2009 he realized a short animated stop-motion puppet film entitled Kiddo – Slingshot; his most notable animated film to date is the animated stop-motion puppet film Koyaa. Together with Marko A. Kovačič, he has directed three animated short films featuring the Plastos Civilization. Saksida has received several festival and residency awards. Jasna Hribernik

Jasna Hribernik is an independant film director and author of videofilms, video installations and other multi-media works. She works also as D.O.P. and compositing artist. Since 1985 she has created numerous original documentary and fiction-documentary films, of which several were internationally screened and awarded (When a Ball Hit Our Heads, A Concert for Mobile Phones and an Orchestra, The Last Boat, The World Didn't Know it Found itself in a Song). Her interdisciplinary work culminates in visible group-authored projects, her special competence being video inserts. In 2011/12 she has directed the feature film Vandima. Borut Peterlin is an independant photographer, photoeditor of the Global monthly magazine, ex-photo-editor of Mladina weekly, and above all, an artist. An active photo-blogger and twitter member, Peterlin is also the founding father and programme board member of the international Fotopub Festival in his home-town of Novo mesto, which has been a constant on photographers calendars since 2001. He obtained his degree in photography at the FAMU in Prague and received a scholarship at Benetton and Toscani Fabrica. Timon Leder

Timon works in animation and pedagogy. After graduating at the Academy of from the Academy of Fine Arts at University of Ljubljana he advanced his academic knowledge on creation of animated series and literary adaptation in France (ESAG Paris, La Poudriere). Luka Dekleva works as a photographer, performer, and video artist. After finishing his MA studies at FAMU in Prague, he began exploring the unpredictability of the digital moving image. He was drawn to the inherent noise that is inevitably a constant follower of every new technological development. Noise as a by-product of the basic signal carriers for audio/visual information presents new realms for systematic abuse and use of the improbabilities in self-generative art. He has presented his work as a solo artist or in collaboration with others, participating in a number of events, including Ars Electronica and Bast Collective. Boštjan Perovšek is a musician, composer and soundscape artist. He composes experimental electro and acoustic music. He specialises in creating bio-acoustic music based on the sounds of animals, especially insects. He plays on his own or with the band SAETA, which performs experimental music. He also creates music for film, theatre, performances and multimedia installations, as well as soundscapes for museums and galleries. He works also as sound engineer for film and video as well as in the field of entertainment as sound designer, creating soundscapes for public places, museums, galleries. He got the honorary Valvasor Award for sound in museums. Valvasor Award is the highest award for achievements in the field of museology. Anja Medved

Anja Medved is author of documentary films, video projects and theatre performances. Documentary films, which she mostly created in a tandem with her mother Nadja Velušček, were presented at many festivals. She was awarded with The Erasmus EuroMedia Seal and Medal 2008 for the video project of collecting memories of her hometown - Nova Gorica in Slovenia and its direct and older twin Gorizia, which is located on the Italian side of the border. She is working in transcultural organization Kinoatelje in the same city. She was a member of multimedia group Microinternational from Los Angeles, participated in performances directed by Marko Peljhan and worked as assistant for theatre director Vito Taufer.
