Coauthor of the Digital Arts and Practices study programme and lead mentor of the Creative Practicum Module. He is co-founder of the Galerija GT Cultural Association (1988) and the Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts (1994). He is active in the fields of visual art, literature, and education. Boštjan Potokar is the creator or cocreator of several educational programmes, as well as the organizer of a number of cultural projects. He graduated in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. He lives and works in Gorica and Ljubljana.

Rene Rusjan is the director of programmes of UNG School of Arts (UNG AU). Visual artist with origins in sculpture, but working in wide fields of contemporary art; the broad scope of her activities encompasses educational work in the fields of contemporary art practices, from visual, intermedia, and performing arts, to theatrical set design, curating exhibitions, and complex art projects. Together with Boštjan Potokar, they founded the Galerija GT Cultural Association (1988) and the Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts (1994), which led to today's UNG School of Arts. She is professor of contemporary arts and leads the Contemporary Art Practices Module in BA and MA (Digital/Media Arts and Practices) programmes.  As programme director Rene curates the main directions of the programmes and the development of the carrier modules.

Professor of Animation and Illustration and founder of the Animation course at the Faculty of Applied Arts of the University of Arts in Belgrade, Rastko Ćirić has presented his work in more than 35 solo shows in the region of former Yugoslavia and elsewhere. As illustrator and writer he collaborates with the magazine Politikin Zabavnik, and from 2002 to 2004 he made illustrations for the New York Times Book Review.
Ćirić has created fourteen animated films, which have received a number of awards. He is member of the Art Directors Club of Serbia.
He graduated from the Graphics Department of the Faculty of Applied Arts of the University of Arts in Belgrade.

The films of director and scriptwriter Rajko Grlić have been shown in cinemas across five continents, they have been included in the competition programmes of leading world festivals, including Cannes, and have received numerous international awards. He has realised eleven theatrical feature films (as director and scriptwriter) and worked on a further five feature films as scriptwriter and on five as producer. He wrote, directed, and produced How to Make Your Movie; An Interactive Film School, which was proclaimed the Best World Multi-media work in 1998. He is Eminent Professor in Film at Ohio University, USA, and Artistic Director of the Motovun Film Festival, Croatia.

Peter Purg received an interdisciplinary PhD from the University of Erfurt, Germany, in the fields of new media, communication science, and media art. He is lecturer and module leader at several higher education media and art schools in Slovenia and abroad; currently he is project manager and module leader in New Media at the University of Nova Gorica, School of Arts; lecturer at the Institute and Academy of Multimedia/IAM in Ljubljana, and programme leader of the BA (Hons) Media Production Management at IAM-CMPM for Middlesex University (London). His research interests include new media, media art, e-learning, media ecology and multimedia. He also acts as an independent advisor and project manager in several research and development projects, as well as being a member of several cultural collectives and associations.

Janez Burger has written and directed three feature films (Silent Sonata, Ruins, Idle Running) as well as several medium-length and short films. His films have been shown all over the world in festivals, cinemas and on TV. He has received several awards in Slovenia and abroad. Burger also directed TV shows and worked in theatre as director and dramaturg. He obtained his  degree film directing from the FAMU film academy in Prague.

Boštjan Vrhovec graduated with in Film and Television Directing from the Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television in Ljubljana. With diverse production groups he has directed a range of films: full-length feature films, short documentaries, and promotional and special purpose films. He works on a regular basis as a director for RTV Slovenia, Pop TV, and RTL Croatia.
He has also directed more than ten theatre plays in professional and experimental theatres in Slovenia. As a film critic he has written reviews for the professional and general print media, as well as for radio.

Kolja Saksida is active in the field of animated film as an author, director, and producer, and in film also as an actor. In 2009 he realized a short animated stop-motion puppet film entitled Kiddo – Slingshot; his most notable animated film to date is the animated stop-motion puppet film Koyaa. Together with Marko A. Kovačič, he has directed three animated short films featuring the Plastos Civilization.

Saksida has received several festival and residency awards. Lately his focus has also been turned towards animated film workshops for children and youth.

Rajko Bizjak graduated with a BFA in Film and Television from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. He is active in photography and film. He has created more than ten photo series and worked as a cameraman and/or director on more than ten short feature and documentary films.
He has extensive experience in teaching photography, as he has been lecturing in various schools, workshops, symposia both domestically and abroad since 1995, and since 2006 also as a higher education lecturer on photography and film cameras. He devotes a considerable amount of time to organising photography and film events, including educational projects, festivals, contests, and exhibitions.

Ana Sluga received her MFA and BFA in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. During her MFA she also studied Photography at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn. She was a recipient of the Essl Award in 200c7.

Tina Smrekar is a visual artist and producer of animated films. She completed her MFA studies in Photography at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, Germany, and received a BFA in product design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. She also has studied in Helsinki, Finland, and Dessau, Germany. She has exhibited across Europe and has received various awards for her artistic work.
Together with the director Špela Čadež they have produced several of her animated films, which received numrous awards worldwide.

Jasna Hribernik is an independant film director and author of videofilms, video installations and other multi-media works. She works also as D.O.P. and compositing artist. Since 1985 she has created numerous original documentary and fiction-documentary films, of which several were internationally screened and awarded (When a Ball Hit Our Heads, A Concert for Mobile Phones and an Orchestra, The Last Boat, The World Didn't Know it Found itself in a Song). Her interdisciplinary work culminates in visible group-authored projects, her special competence being video inserts. In 2011/12 she has directed the feature film Vandima. Jasna Hribernik studied Film and Television Directing at the Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television in Ljubljana and took part in the two-year Discovery Campus Masterschool in documentary film directing in Munich.

Martin Turk wrote and directed three feature films (Feed Me With Your words, Good Day's Work, Don't Forget To Breath), a feature documentary (Doberdob – A Novel By a Rebel) and several short films. His films have been shown on a vast number of international film festivals, receiving several awards internationally. Turk graduated in Film and Television Directing at the Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television at the University of Ljubljana.

Borut Peterlin is an independant photographer, photoeditor of the Global monthly magazine, ex-photo-editor of Mladina weekly, and above all, an artist. An active photo-blogger and twitter member, Peterlin is also the founding father and programme board member of the international Fotopub Festival in his home-town of Novo mesto, which has been a constant on photographers calendars since 2001. He obtained his degree in photography at the FAMU in Prague and received a scholarship at Benetton and Toscani Fabrica. He completed his MA studies at the London College of Printing.

As a director of photography Rado Likon has shot eighteen full-length feature films as well as diverse television series, a range of film portraits of Slovenian artists, and documentary and short feature films. He has received several awards for his camera work.
For eight years he lectured as an assistant professor on film and television camerawork for directors at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television in Ljubljana.
He studied film and television camerawork at the FAMU film academy in Prague.

Dr. Sarival Sosič is curator of contemporary visual art at Mestna Galerija Ljubljana (the Ljubljana City Art Gallery), where he has curated a number of exhibitions, mostly of contemporary Slovenian artists.
His research interests are in painting, sculpture, and photography; he publishes on these themes in professional journals, catalogues, and monographs.
He received a PhD in Exhibition Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana and an MA on the photographer Avgust Berthold.

Milanka Fabjančič graduated at the Academy of Visual arts in Ljubljana in 2006 as an academic painter with the short animated movie "Striček in Psiček" ("Pappy and Happy"). Profesionally she works as an illustrator, seeing illustration in its broadest sense. She runs a design brand HA HA! that produces papergoods, textile products and enamelware. She contributes to graphic identities, constructs out of paper and animates. She is a passionate bookworm and loves good stories. At the Storyboard classes she guides students through open narrative drawing assignments..

In his rich career as a director of photography Radovan Čok has made 15 long feature and television films, 27 documentaries, 70 short feature films and over 80 commissioned industrial or commercial films and music videos. He has received several awards for his film work .
Parallel to his creative work, he is also active in video, film, and film camera education. Since 1971 he has been intensively involved in photography, participating in a number of shows in Slovenia and abroad.

Timon works in animation and pedagogy. After graduating at the Academy of from the Academy of Fine Arts at University of Ljubljana he advanced his academic knowledge on creation of animated series and literary adaptation in France (ESAG Paris, La Poudriere). He created several animated shorts including his first professional film "The Weasel" and animated in many others, wrote a degree on children's comprehension of film language, and cooperated on creation of the first manual on animation for schools and kindergardens.

Valerie Wolf Gang works as a multimedia artist, film director, and transdisciplinary arts researcher, using different technologies and approaches to construct installations, new media works, and films. She researches the relationship between man and technology and collaborates with various scientists and art collectives. Her artworks are exhibited in numerous international galleries; she received various international grants and awards, her films featured in international festivals. Wolf Gang is a Ph.D. candidate at the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Ljubljana and a professional associate at the Institute for Fine Arts Vienna, a lecturer at University of Nova Gorica School of Arts and other cultural, educational institutions.

Luka Dekleva works as a photographer, performer, and video artist. After finishing his MA studies at FAMU in Prague, he began exploring the unpredictability of the digital moving image. He was drawn to the inherent noise that is inevitably a constant follower of every new technological development. Noise as a by-product of the basic signal carriers for audio/visual information presents new realms for systematic abuse and use of the improbabilities in self-generative art. He has presented his work as a solo artist or in collaboration with others, participating in a number of events, including Ars Electronica and Bast Collective. He has been teaching photography since 2002, and creative media since 2007.

A screenwriter, dramatic adviser, writer on film, and teacher of art history and comparative literature, Jože Dolmark received his BA in Art History from the University of Ljubljana and graduated from the Film Department of the University of Paris VIII. He writes essays, critiques, and theoretical articles on film, photography, and fine arts for professional publications. He is author and co-author of several film monographs.
Six films have been made from his screenplays. He has been active in the field of cinema since 1998, and since 2009 also as a script doctor at the Slovenian Film Fund.

Igor Prassel is cofounder, artistic director, and one of the producers of the International Animation Film Festival – Animateka. As a programme adviser he also collaborates with the World Festival of Animated Films – Animafest Zagreb and other film and contemporary arts festivals in Slovenia and abroad. For almost ten years he ran a monthly animation film program at the Slovenska Kinoteka (Slovene cinematheque). For many years he was co-editor of the only Slovene comics magazine, Stripburger.
He is currently finishing his MA in Media Studies at the Faculty for Graduate Social Sciences Studies of the University of Ljubljana.

Metod (b. 1979 in Ljubljana) is a hybrid creative who works across experimental thinking, art, design, education and consultancy. His interdisciplinary practice explores innovative concepts, strategies and formats of how to challenge oneself, and engage in an exchanging dialogue. In 2007 Metod finished his masters at the Slade School of Fine Art in London and have since worked internationally as a solo creative and in co-working practices with individuals and groups. Currently he is engaged in several co-working practices in experimental art, cultural research, visual design and organization. Metod is based both in London, UK and Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Jan Simončič secured his first position as a computer expert back in 1985, when computers where still in their infancy. He has collaborated in a number of 3D-animations for advertisements, music videos, art projects, documentary films, etc.
In the nineties he helped establish a digital editing station at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana and the first art gallery with digitalized viewing of artworks. He is the author of digital applications for several theatre plays. As an editor he collaborated on Grega Mastnak’s animated film The Beezes (Bizgeci).

Mitja Reichenberg, PhD, is a film composer, music producer, theoretician, a publicist and a lecturer in different video and audio programmes. After receiving a degree at the University of Ljubljana Academy of Music he focused on sound design and composing for film and earned a PhD at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Arts, at the department of Sociology on the subject of film and film sound. He works in different fields - from solo projects as pianist for silent film, creating contemporary sound installations, composing for film, theatre to producing contemporary, popular and experimental music.

Boštjan Perovšek is a musician, composer and soundscape artist. He composes experimental electro and acoustic music. He specialises in creating bio-acoustic music based on the sounds of animals, especially insects. He plays on his own or with the band SAETA, which performs experimental music. He also creates music for film, theatre, performances and multimedia installations, as well as soundscapes for museums and galleries. He works also as sound engineer for film and video as well as in the field of entertainment as sound designer, creating soundscapes for public places, museums, galleries. He got the honorary Valvasor Award for sound in museums. Valvasor Award is the highest award for achievements in the field of museology. It has been conferred annually since 1998 by the Slovene Museum Society..

Jaka Železnikar is a writer, artist, and programmer, mostly involved with networked technologies: computational poetry, e-literature, and online art. He was among the early authors of net art.
He publishes and presents his works internationally, e.g. at ICA London, ZKM Karlruhe, etc. For eight years he was editor of the online edition of Mladina Magazine. He is employed as a programmer-coordinator at Mladinska knjiga Publishing House.

Tadej Žnidarčič is a contributing photographer for Redux Pictures and has published in magazines, newspapers, and other publications in Africa, Europe, and the United States, including The New York Times, The Guardian, Economist, The Times, D Magazine, FAZ, Die Zeit, The Observer, IL Magazine, The Africa Report, Io Donna). His work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions in Europe and the United States, among others Moving Walls in New York City. He obtained a degree in physics from the University of Ljubljana and photography at the Famul Stuat School of Art. He continued his studies as a graduate of the International Center of Photography in New York City, where he was awarded the George and Joyce Moss Scholarship for Photojournalism in 2007. He also received a 2007–2008 Global Fund for Children/International Center of Photography Fellowship, which took him to India, Bangladesh, and Romania. He lives and works in Uganda.

Anja Medved is author of documentary films, video projects and theatre performances. Documentary films, which she mostly created in a tandem with her mother Nadja Velušček, were presented at many festivals. She was awarded with The Erasmus EuroMedia Seal and Medal 2008 for the video project of collecting memories of her hometown - Nova Gorica in Slovenia and its direct and older twin Gorizia, which is located on the Italian side of the border. She is working in transcultural organization Kinoatelje in the same city. She was a member of multimedia group Microinternational from Los Angeles, participated in performances directed by Marko Peljhan and worked as assistant for theatre director Vito Taufer. She graduated with a BFA in Theatre and Radio directing from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana.

Robertina Šebjanič explores various media, such as video and ambient installations in her contemporary art practice. She has presented her work in solo and group shows, as well as taken part in international exhibitions and festivals; her video works have been shown in important international venues as parts of several video collections. She was a member of the editorial board of The Glossary of Slovenian Art After 1945 (Pojmovnik slovenske umetnosti po letu 1945). Since 2009 she has worked as part of the Ljudmila collective, the Ljubljana digital media lab.
She studied at the Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts and at the Academy of Fine Arts, and Design, both in Ljubljana, and at the Valand School of Fine Arts, Gothenburg, Sweden. She lives and works in Ljubljana.

A graduate of the school, Urša P. Bonelli works in the field of filming, production, editing, documenting and archiving. Her passion is dealing with the significance of documentation in digital media and contemporary artistic practices. She collaborated with various artists, cultural associations and institutions and through the years gathered a considerable amount of experience in the field of archiving and documenting, including an extensive knowledge and understanding of technical equipment which enables her to find innovative solutions and support for various multimedia installations and exhibitions.
